The Dachstein-West ski resort is Austria's best kept secret.
Dachstein-West is a typically Austrian resort, warm, friendly and
hospitable but and seldom frequented by hoards of package holidaymakers,
therefore rarely suffers queues! A
fantastic resort with 45 modern lifts, 140 km of
well prepared snow-sure pistes. It consists of mainly red runs with
the benefit of ski schools, nursery slopes, private tuition and most
importantly no shortage of restaurants or cosy wooden huts with hearty
food and drink available all day. Set amongst some of the most beautiful
scenery to be found anywhere and with a good snow record, Dachstein-West is a
real hidden gem. Dachstein-West is a
15 minute car journey from
Chalet Hepi. Local taxis or the ski bus are available if you do
not have your own transport. There is plenty of parking available
right at the bottom of the slopes for those driving themselves.

The
Krippenstein Ski
and Freeride arena offers skiers and boarders of all capabilities the
opportunity to experience marked but unprepared routes or to
choose one of the longest, prepared Austrian pistes of 11km. Bored of
beautifully groomed pistes? With local
instructors ready to teach you the art of freeriding or guiding expert
freeriders safely through the awesome terrain, there is no greater
thrill than riding the white stuff! The Krippenstein is a 5 minute
car/bus journey from Haus Hepi.
Ski school is available
at both resorts. We can help arrange skiing
or snowboarding
lessons and hire of equipment to ensure you waste none of
your precious holiday time.

A deposit of 25% if more than 8 weeks
